International Sales Manager

The client is a leading food processing and export company specializing in frozen potato products, primarily frozen French fries. The company has experienced significant international growth and currently exports to markets across Southeast Asia, Africa, and Europe, with plans for continued global expansion.


We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to support the company’s international business growth by developing supplier and trading networks, managing commercial relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across Mexico and international markets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international trade, commodity trading, procurement, import/export operations, supplier development, or related commercial activities. Experience within frozen foods, seafood, agricultural products, bulk commodities, or other international trading environments is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers and commercial partners.
  • Conduct supplier assessments, including quality, pricing, production capacity, and delivery performance evaluations.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and pricing discussions with suppliers and business partners.
  • Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and product quality to support business growth and competitiveness.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and key stakeholders.
  • Support international trading activities and cross-border business development initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient execution of procurement, sourcing, and commercial strategies.
  • Analyze market opportunities and contribute to the expansion of international business operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 9+ years of experience in international trade, commodity trading, procurement, sourcing, import/export, business development, or related commercial functions.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and/or customers.
  • English and Spanish fluency required.
  • Experience in frozen foods, seafood, agricultural commodities, bulk commodities, futures trading, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with international teams.
