Our client is a rapidly growing food manufacturing and export company specializing in frozen food products with an expanding international footprint. With strong growth across global markets, the company continues to strengthen its procurement and supplier network to support its international operations and long-term expansion strategy.

As part of this growth, the company is seeking an experienced International Procurement Manager to lead supplier development, strategic sourcing initiatives, and procurement operations across global supply markets.

Will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers while ensuring product quality, supply continuity, cost optimization, and operational efficiency. This role requires strong expertise in supplier negotiations, sourcing strategies, international trade, and procurement best practices.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within the seafood, frozen food, food processing, agribusiness, commodities, or international trading sectors and possess a strong understanding of global supplier management.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to support business growth and procurement objectives.
• Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and qualification processes, including quality systems, production capabilities, pricing structures, and delivery performance.
• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and long-term partnerships.
• Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation.
• Develop and execute procurement plans, ensuring timely purchasing and material availability.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with operational and business requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement in quality, service levels, and overall performance.
• Support sourcing initiatives across multiple product categories and international markets.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement standards and supplier management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Food Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
• 9+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or international purchasing.
• Proven experience negotiating with international suppliers and managing complex sourcing activities.
• Strong knowledge of supplier development, procurement strategy, and supply chain operations.
• Experience working within food-related industries, commodities, or international trading environments.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international business environment.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Chinese language skills are considered an advantage but are not mandatory.
