Our cliente is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to help design and build highly scalable backend platforms powering its streaming ecosystem.
In this role, you’ll develop high-performance APIs and distributed backend services that support millions of users and thousands of requests per second (RPS). You’ll work in a modern cloud-native environment using Java, Spring Boot, Golang, Kubernetes, GCP, and AWS, collaborating with experienced engineers across multiple product teams.

What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend APIs and microservices using Java (Spring Boot) and Golang.
- Build high-performance distributed systems capable of supporting thousands of requests per second.
- Develop and optimize backend services running in Kubernetes-based cloud environments.
- Work across both Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
- Design scalable cloud-native solutions using technologies such as:
- GKE
- Pub/Sub
- Cloud SQL
- EKS
- ECS
- Lambda
- Step Functions
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions for new backend services.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and overall platform performance.
- Promote engineering best practices, clean code, and high-quality software development.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, platform engineers, data engineers, and cross-functional product teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 9+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience developing backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Practical experience building production applications using Golang.
- Proven experience developing scalable APIs and distributed backend systems.
- Experience building systems capable of handling high traffic and thousands of requests per second (RPS).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications (Docker).
- Strong experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices.
- Experience working with AWS services.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and backend service design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Advanced conversational English.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Pub/Sub or Kafka.
- Experience with MySQL and/or YugabyteDB.
- Experience supporting applications with millions of monthly active users (MAUs).
- Experience with highly available distributed systems.
- Experience designing cloud-native architectures.
