The company is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Web Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional web initiatives from strategy and planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and user experience standards.
Reporting to the Director, Web Strategy & Development, this role will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of project management, web development, UX/UI principles, content strategy, and cross-functional team coordination.
Essential Functions:
- Proactively shape and define project scope, delivery frameworks, goals, and success criteria in partnership with stakeholders.
- Own the full lifecycle of web programs, from roadmap planning and resource management through delivery, launch, and post-project analysis.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across internal teams (design, development, content, QA) and external vendors drive execution, remove blockers, and maintain accountability.
- Manage and deliver web initiatives, including website redesigns, launches, updates, migrations, and integrations.
- Set and manage project milestones, timelines, and budgets with minimal oversight, applying strong judgment to prioritize and adjust plans as needed.
- Uphold standards for quality assurance, accessibility performance, and usability, ensuring all deliverables meet or exceed expectations. Communicate project status, risks, and key decisions effectively with stakeholders and leadership, surfacing insights and recommendations proactively.
- Identify and implement process improvements across the web program lifecycle to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
- Conduct retrospectives and continuous improvement efforts to evolve team workflows and delivery practices.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in web or digital project management, ideally in a SaaS or marketing-driven environment.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Experience with various methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Lean, and Kanban.
PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, CMSs, SEO, analytics).
- Experience with WordPress preferred.
- Understanding of UX/UI design best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
