As the organization continues to grow as part of the Markmonitor Group, we are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to help strengthen and scale its global accounting and financial operations.
About the Role
The Accounting Manager will work closely with the Corporate Controller and senior finance leadership to oversee accounting and financial control activities across multiple entities and international operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, internal controls, audit support, and team leadership.
The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional who can operate confidently in a multinational environment, work across different time zones and entities, and partner effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support accounting activities across multiple entities, regions, and time zones.
- Manage and support accounting teams through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and professional development.
- Lead key aspects of the monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, eliminations, and variance analysis.
- Support the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, management reporting, and regulatory filings.
- Apply and maintain accounting policies and internal controls in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable local requirements.
- Support revenue recognition processes, including ASC 606, and ensure consistent accounting treatment across global operations.
- Oversee and support cash management, Treasury activities, and cash flow forecasting.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and work closely with auditors, tax advisors, banking partners, and other external stakeholders.
- Partner with regional finance leaders and cross-functional teams to resolve complex accounting matters and improve financial processes.
- Analyze financial results, risks, and opportunities and provide meaningful insights to the Corporate Controller and senior leadership.
- Support accounting system enhancements, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Help develop scalable accounting policies, procedures, reporting structures, and controls as the organization continues to grow.
- Participate in special projects and strategic finance initiatives as needed.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 6–8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally within a multinational organization.
- Strong experience with U.S. GAAP and international accounting environments.
- Experience with financial consolidation, intercompany accounting, and multi-currency operations.
- Strong understanding of month-end and year-end close processes.
- Experience with revenue recognition; ASC 606 experience is highly valued.
- Previous experience leading or supervising accounting teams.
- Experience supporting external audits and maintaining internal controls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial analysis.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with stakeholders across multiple countries and time zones.
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
- Experience with SaaS, technology, digital services, or global professional services organizations.
- Exposure to both U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
- CPA, CMA, MBA, or Master’s degree.
- Experience with Treasury and global cash management.
- Experience with ERP implementations, automation, or accounting transformation initiatives.
